Acting Workshop – Terms and Conditions

 

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 A place on the acting workshop is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit.

1.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full by the 29th June 2026.

1.3 The workshop provider reserves the right to refuse participation if full payment is not received by the due date.

 

2. Deposit Policy

​

2.1 All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

2.2 Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

3. Participant Cancellation or Non-Attendance

 

3.1 If a participant withdraws from the workshop for any reason, including but not limited to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal circumstances, the deposit will not be refunded.

3.2 If the participant has paid the full workshop fee and subsequently withdraws, any refund issued (at the discrepancy of the organiser) will exclude the deposit amount.

3.3 Failure to attend the workshop without prior notice will be treated as a withdrawal, and no refund will be issued beyond the terms stated above.

 

4. Workshop Cancellation by Organiser

 

4.1 In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by the organiser, participants will be offered either:

     (a) a full refund of all monies paid; or

     (b) the option to transfer their place to a future workshop date, subject to availability.

 

5. Changes to the Workshop

 

5.1 The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the workshop schedule, location, or content where necessary.

5.2 In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

 

6. Liability

 

6.1 Participation in the workshop is at the participant's own risk.

6.2 The organiser accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.

 

7. Acceptance of Terms

 

7.1 By booking a place on the workshop and paying the deposit, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

8. Photography and Videography Consent (Under 18s)

 

8.1 Unless otherwise specified in writing by a parent or legal guardian, consent is given for the participant to be photographed and/or video recorded during the workshop.

8.2 Such images and recordings may be used by the organiser for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials.

8.3 If a parent or guardian does not wish for their child to be photographed or recorded, they must notify the organiser in writing prior to the workshop.
