My Story
I’m a musical theatre director and choreographer with over 30 years’ experience, and a real love for telling stories through music and performance. I was brought up in the world of musical theatre and this love encouraged me to undertake formal training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Early on, I was lucky enough to work on a number of West End and touring productions, including The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Martin Guerre, Oliver! and Grease. Working with those shows was a huge learning experience. I got to work with incredibly talented people and see up close the level of care and detail that goes into creating top-quality theatre.

Alongside that, I’ve spent more than 30 years directing musicals with amateur societies across Essex, which has been just as important to me. I love the friendships made, the energy people bring, and the chance to help performers of all levels build confidence and really enjoy being on stage.

I've also been fortunate to use my knowledge and skills to teach and help new generations of performers. Whether just to gain confidence in performing, undertake LAMDA exams or prepare for drama schools or professional auditions.
